On Sunday, March 9th, we’ll be at our partner Shop2Rock and invite you to join our beginner-friendly handpan workshop!
In this two-hour course, you will be introduced to this fascinating instrument and learn the fundamental playing techniques. Together with our Sela instructor, Felix, you will explore:
– Basic striking techniques for a clear and harmonious sound
– The simplest striking pattern: Hand-to-Hand, to develop rhythmic confidence
– Chords and arpeggios
– The structure and unique characteristics of the Handpan
– Theoretical foundations to help you further develop your playing skills
