Our partner Percussion+m is hosting a handpan workshop for beginners on November 15th!
Starting at 6:30 PM, Mathias Reuter will welcome you in the workshop room at Kulturbunker Kassel to teach you the basics of the handpan. During this time, you will explore the handpans, learn different playing techniques, and gain your first playing experiences through simple rhythms and melodies.
Throughout the course, Sela handpans will be available for your use, so you don’t need to bring your own.
Mathias Reuter is an experienced percussionist and the founder of percussion+m. He specializes in handpan and is active as a certified Drum Circle Facilitator and mentor. Since 2001, he has been leading drum circles for various groups, from companies to schools, and has reached over 50,000 students. His teaching skills and commitment bring people together and encourage collective music-making.
