On November 13th our partner Percussion+m is holding a new beginner handpan course in Kassel!
Mathias Reuter will be waiting for you at 6:30 pm in the workshop room at Kulturbunker Kassel to guide you through an introduction to the handpan, along with various playing techniques, simple rhythms, and melodies.
Mathias Reuter is a percussionist and the managing director of percussion+m. As a certified Drum Circle Facilitator and Mentor, he brings extensive experience in music education, including Handpan instruction. After studying social sciences, he has been leading Drum Circles since 2001 and conducting workshops to teach the art of playing the Handpan. Additionally, he is the co-author of the book “Drum Circle – der Groove für alle” and offers further training for music educators.
