Have you always dreamed of playing this fascinating instrument but never found the opportunity nearby? Don’t worry! On Friday, October 11th, our partner Musik World Brilon, in collaboration with Sela, is hosting a Handpan workshop for beginners. Our Handpan instructor, Isabelle Kohtz, will guide you through the basics of Handpan playing in this 3-hour workshop: theory, scales, arpeggios, and coordination exercises.
Isabelle is a passionate Handpan player from Bochum, who acquired her first Handpan in March 2021 and has since deepened her love for the instrument. Since April 2021, she has been regularly offering workshops for beginners to help others enter the world of Handpans. Additionally, she uses her Handpans therapeutically in sound journeys, sound meditations, and yoga sessions to create a meditative and relaxing atmosphere. As a certified meditation therapist, she combines her experience with Handpans and meditation to support people on their journey to inner peace and balance.
