Chau gongs are traditional instruments used for their meditative, therapeutic and musical applications. Known for their deep fundamentals and rich overtone spectrum, they produce long-lasting vibrations and respond sensitively to different playing techniques and dynamics.

The Flower Mandala design features darker, low-gloss surface areas contrasted with finely engraved patterns. The detailed mandala structure creates subtle reflective highlights and a dense visual texture, while the central Sela symbol forms the visual focal point. Minor engraving variations are intentionally preserved, giving each gong an individual appearance.
