Handpan Basic Workshop for Beginners with some prior experience. This course is ideal for anyone who has already attended the introductory workshop at Percussion+m.
Mathias Reuter will be waiting for you at 6:30 pm in the workshop room at Kulturbunker Kassel. Here you will learn new striking techniques, additional grooves and new melodies.
Mathias Reuter is a percussionist and the managing director of percussion+m. As a certified Drum Circle Facilitator and Mentor, he brings extensive experience in music education, including Handpan instruction. After studying social sciences, he has been leading Drum Circles since 2001 and conducting workshops to teach the art of playing the Handpan. Additionally, he is the co-author of the book “Drum Circle – der Groove für alle” and offers further training for music educators.
Sela instruments will be available for use during the course, but you are also welcome to bring your own handpan.
