Tingshas

Tradditional Tibetan cymbals

Tingshas (or cymbals) are traditional Tibetan instruments that are mainly used in meditation, sound therapy and as musical offerings in spiritual rituals.

Striking the two sound discs together produces a long-lasting, clear and penetrating sound that flows from the head through the whole body.

Thanks to their robust construction, Sela Tingshas retain their sound quality even with frequent use. Both beginners and experienced users will quickly have an outstanding sound experience with the cymbals.

Sela Tingshas consist of two discs made of high-quality bronze and connected by a suede band. The upperside of the sound discs has an attractive lotus design, while the symbols of the mantra OM AH HUM are carved on the underside. OM AH HUM is meant to purify and harmonize the body, speech and mind and is often used at the beginning of a meditation to promote a state of deep relaxation and concentration.
